About me
I am a fully insured, registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to the ethical framework of the BACP. I qualified as an Integrative therapeutic counsellor and have experience in counselling adults of all ages that have experienced a loss. This includes counselling adults with high anxiety, autism, ADD and ADHD, some of those having been diagnosed quite late in life.
In conjunction with my Private Practice I am a PAT (Pets as Therapy) volunteer with my dog, Amber. We attend Mental Health Days for various local establishments which we hope enhances the emotional wellbeing of all we meet.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship that is established is the key to positive change which is why choosing the right counsellor for you is crucial. Hence the reason I offer a free initial chat for up to 20 minutes on the phone at a time that suits you and a no obligation first 1 hour session that gives you an opportunity to see how you would like to move forward. If you decide that you would like to continue with sessions, they are 50 minutes thereafter.
Whatever the loss I am here to listen. We are all unique and experience things differently. I offer you a space to enable you to explore your experience, supporting you through this process, to facilitate your healing.
